The Care Direct Relief is a modular-cut pressure care mattress designed to work in harmony with electric profiling beds across care home, homecare, and healthcare settings.
The CMHR foam interior is cut into independent cells that function like individual springs. This modular design redistributes body weight evenly across the entire support surface, reduces friction, and promotes the dissipation of heat and moisture — all key factors in reducing the risk of pressure ulcer development.
The cell structure allows the mattress to flex naturally across the head, back, and foot sections of a profiling bed, maintaining therapeutic support in all positions. It supports patients weighing up to 25 stones (160 kg).
The multi-stretch polyurethane cover (255 GSM) is removable, washable, vapour-permeable, and chlorine-resistant to 1,000 ppm/0.1%. Welded seams provide a robust barrier against fluid ingress, and the Sanitized Clariant Benelux fabric treatment offers long-term antimicrobial protection.
Certified to Crib 5 (BS7177:2008), OEKO-TEX Class 1, Carbon Neutral, and backed by a 2-year warranty. X-ray translucent cover as standard.
The ideal choice for buyers equipping profiling beds in care homes and homecare environments where pressure management and ease of maintenance are priorities.
