2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to all purchases made on our website by both consumers and businesses. By using our website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

3. Bespoke, Custom-Size & Made-to-Order Items

3.1 Many products available via Care Direct are bespoke, custom-sized, or made-to-order.
3.2 Because these products are manufactured specifically for you, they are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund, except where they are faulty or not as described.
3.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all measurements, specifications, and customisation details are correct at the time of order.

4. Ordering Process

4.1 A contract is formed once you place an order and receive an order confirmation email.
4.2 Bespoke items cannot be amended or cancelled once production has begun.
4.3 For standard (non-bespoke) items, cancellation may be possible before dispatch—please contact us immediately.

5. Prices & Payment

5.1 All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
5.2 Payment is required in full at checkout.
5.3 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors prior to dispatch.

6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
6.2 Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to manufacturing time or courier delays.
6.3 Risk passes to you upon delivery to your address.
6.4 Ownership of goods transfers once full payment has been received.

7. Returns & Refunds

7.1 Care Direct does not provide free returns or return labels.
7.2 Bespoke/customised/made-to-order goods cannot be returned for change of mind.
7.3 Eligible returns for non-bespoke products must comply with our Returns Policy (see separate policy below).

8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

8.1 If goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the issue.
8.2 We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8.3 This does not include damage caused by misuse, wear and tear, or incorrect installation.

9. Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights are protected. Bespoke/custom-made goods are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content—images, text, designs, branding—belongs to Direct Manufacturing Limited and may not be used without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the goods purchased.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England & Wales.
